If I said those words about myself, you'd probably find me arrogant and egotistical, maybe even obnoxious. This was one of the very first lessons I learned in marketing. THE most powerful way to establish cred-ability is to have someone else sing your praises. Endorsements do that instantly.

People expect you to tell them how good you are, how terrific your product is, and how wonderful your company is. If you don't speak about the benefits and value, they wonder whether you really believe in what you do. It's not easy to find the right balance of restrained enthusiasm. Too much, and you bowl people over. Too little, and people doubt your commitment and sincerity. This can be a real catch-22. One way to demonstrate your exuberance is to tie your enthusiasm to a third party endorsement of someone else who is equally enthusiastic about you as you are.

If you want to lower resistance, eliminate rejection, accelerate your activity, elevate your status, and establish instant credibility, extract the most powerful endorsements from your best clients, or most recognizable colleagues, and put them front and center in your communication. When you send letters, email, audios, videos, CDs, call or visit, lead with a success story or a ringing endorsement. It's also an effective and powerful way to open a conversation. You are highly attractive when other people are excited because you contributed to their success.

A more well known person gives you added credibility. Jay Abraham is respected as a marketing genius. Jay has helped generate hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients.
