It's mind-boggling that nobody at Enron asked, "WHY?"
It teaches us a very expensive lesson.
Don't wait until it's too late to, "Ask why?"
For the past few years, I have been asking
"why?" a lot.
Since September 11, it's been a daily conversation.
Why is there so little tolerance and so
much hate in the world?
Why are people so eager to give up their lives for their beliefs?
Why aren't more people willing to give up their beliefs instead
of their lives?
Why do we spend billions to drop bombs?
Why don't we spend billions and feed the planet instead?
Why do we fight so many wars; on crime,
cancer, drugs, poverty,
and now, terrorism?
Why do we think we can achieve peace through
war?
Why do we think we can conquer anything and anyone?
Why don't we explore inner space like we do outer space?
Since the 1960's, our entire
eco-system has undergone a massive
realignment. The delicate ecology and holistic balance that is
nature has been upset by humankind. We are now seeing the first
wave of effects. Degenerative diseases are increasing in numbers
and striking people earlier in life. Where will we be 20 years
from now?
Why do we ignore the obvious when it stares us in the face?
Why don't we speak up more often for injustice?
Why does the pharmaceutical industry spend
more money advertising
drugs than Americans spend buying nutritional supplements?
Why do most doctors get only a couple hours
of nutritional training?
Why do hundreds of thousands of people die from medication each
