At times, I find myself asking if I could live on a diet of powder
and pills. Add plenty of water and I wonder if I wouldn't be just
as well off. After all, the food I eat has lost most or all of
its nutrient value.
What's left of it is saturated with pesticides, herbicides and antibiotics. We eat the meat of animals, whom we have tortured and pumped full of antibiotics and hard drugs. These drugs are so potent that if they were sold "on the street" it would be considered a serious felony offense. It would make the illegal drug trade look like a "five & dime" business.
The abundance of animal drugs we ingest, coupled with the vitamins and minerals that no longer exist in our foods, creates an epidemic of historic proportion. It is a great plight on, and threat to life on the planet.
As we change old habits, discard harmful choices and reduce unnecessary indulgences, we just may find that we feel better physically, more mentally alert and emotional stable. I eat less, maintain more constant weight and make sure that every day I get an abundance of nutrients in proper balance. I just don't get them all from FOOD.
In fact, I get much of my micro-nutrition from my supplements, not my food. And it's not because I choose unhealthy foods. Our food supply is sparse in nutrional value, and our eating habits don't allow most of us to optimize nutritional value. Many people eat well, but don't eat "good" - the nutritional value of their intake doesn't come close to fulfilling what our systems need as a minimim daily requirement. Amidst food aplenty, we're starving for nutrition.
This information can save your life, or, at the very least, make your living years far more healthful and enjoyable. Share it with those you love.

Now I know most of these foods taste good.
And I'm not asking you to give up everything on this list. I like
these foods, too, and eat some of them. You can alter your health
in a positive way, forever, without having to "give up"
everything.
