The RAMM Formula Will Take You Anyplace You Want To Go!
R = Result:
What is your outcome or destination? What result do you want?
A= Action:
What action(s) are you taking to move toward your result?
M= Measure:
Are you on or off course? Getting closer to or further away?
M= Modify:
What changes or adjustments will you make to keep on course?
That's it. Your two-minute RAMM flight plan.
Define your destination or outcome with
as much clarity as you
can muster. As the pilot of today's flight, take two minutes
before you take off to plan your flight.
R = WHAT'S YOUR RESULT TODAY?
Keep your destination clearly in mind today.
Know what it
looks like so you'll be able to measure your progress.
A = ACTION.
Take off. Be pro-active. DO SOMETHING. It
doesn't have to be
the "perfect" thing. Just do something. Doing something
is
better than doing nothing (or waiting for the "perfect"
thing).
M = MEASURE.
Measure your actions AND outcomes against
your result. Are
you on course, or off course? Are you getting closer, or further
away? Measure quality AND quantity.
M = MODIFY!
Be flexible. If you are veering off course,
made a mistake or
took a wrong turn, acknowledge it and gently correct.
Continuously measure to ensure you don't go too far astray.
Humans, like aircraft don't respond well to abrupt course
corrections.
Be willing and ready to shift, revise, alter,
or modify your
heading. Make whatever in-course corrections are necessary to
get you to your next port of call, and ultimately to your
destination.
Keep measuring. Be sure that where you are
headed is still
important to you.
You cannot fail, presuming you are committed
enough not to
quit, and you are willing to keep on going until you get there.
When the journey IS the destination, you are fulfilled and
"successful" whether or not you arrive at your port
of call.
Make the journey itself your daily success.
There is no failure. There is only success or learning.
Shift your paradigm. You succeed or learn
BE WILLING TO CHANGE!

Why do you know that? You got it.
Repetition, Repetition, Repetition!
There are three vital keys to be sure your
marketing message
hits the mark.
IMPACT is #1.
Nobody's paying too much attention these days.
As we say in Joisey, if you don't have impact, "fuhgettaboudit!"
No impact, no attention. No attention, no action. Without
impact, you might as well "fuhgettaboudit!"
REPETITION is #2.
I can hit you with my best shot, but you'll
"fuhgettaboudit" in no time flat if I don't repeat it
and repeat it
and repeat it; at least three times.
It's said we need to hear or see a message
from seven to 27
times before we act on it. And you think I repeat myself.
Maybe we ought to re-assess how we market,
what we say, how
we say it, AND HOW OFTEN we say it. Just because we see our
own messages over and over again (and maybe get bored with
them), we must realize other people don't "get it" until
they
see it or hear it at least three times, often seven times and
heaven forbid, 27 times.
Only the very best marketers make sure their
prospects
see/hear the message from seven to 27 times. That's a true test
of success and staying power.
How many times has your audience heard/seen your message?
There are three keys to be sure your marketing
hits the mark.
Do you remember what they are?
I gave you the first two. I'll repeat them.
1. IMPACT. Ask yourself, "How can I make a bigger and
better
impact with my message?" What could you say, and how could
you say it that would get interested people to sit up and take
notice?
2. REPETITION. Ask yourself, "How can I cement that message
more deeply into the hearts and minds of those who can buy
and reinforce it with those who can benefit most?" That is,
how
can you be repetitive without being obnoxious?
3. MEDIUM. Ask yourself, "How does my prospect prefer
to get the message?" As important as impact and
repetition are to being sure your marketing hits the mark,
delivering your information in a person's preferred
medium is crucial if your message is to be received. Don't
send me a video. I'll never watch it, even if it might save
my life. I prefer to hear it from the horse's mouth, or read
it.

I have trained tens of thousands of people

to this day only a handful of them ask prospects,
"How do you prefer to get your information?"
THIS ONE QUESTION alone
can transform your "hit" rate and
save you a lot of wasted money on marketing that misses the
